Warm Up Nepal - Winter Jacket Distribution 2024
100+ families reached
In the harsh winters of rural Dhading, families struggle to keep warm at altitudes above 1,500 meters. NLC organized the "Warm Up Nepal" Jacket Distribution programme at Saldum village, Gangajamuna Rural Municipality, in partnership with local authorities and sponsors. Warm jackets were distributed to children, women and elderly community members who could not afford winter clothing. The distribution event brought together the entire community, with NLC volunteers addressing the gathering and handing out jackets one by one. Alongside the jacket distribution, NLC also ran a parallel Nepal Flood & Landslide Relief Program in the same region, providing essential supplies to families affected by the 2024 monsoon disasters. These combined relief efforts reached over 100 families across multiple villages in the Dhading district.
