Saldum Learning Center
Empowering rural communities through education, health, and opportunity
About Saldum Learning Center
The Saldum Learning Center opened in September 2021, and provides 70 children with hot lunch, after-school tutoring and access to extra-curricular activities. The Center celebrated its opening with a Health Camp that provided no-cost, basic medical care to over 600 people in the region. When the Saldum Learning Center opened, it became the first place in the village to have an internet connection. Through empowerment programs and physical therapy, the Learning Center has also provided outreach to 160 women in the village.
